Just to clarify.
Thank you so much for all your nice messages and emails.
No I am not quitting designing right now. I am investigating some other options so I am not sure what the future holds right now.
Digital scrapbooking has grown in leaps and bounds since I started as a designer and in the last few months lots of changes have taken place. Not all of them have been postive.
It truly is difficult to continue to produce a good quality original product and sell it for a reasonable price. I love designing, I love being original and I really try to give the best customer service I can deliver. But this is my living, if I was doing it for a hobby it would be so much easier to justify the time :) It is all supply and demand and the supply far exceeds the demand and though I believe I have been very succesful it is a time consuming occupation for a healthy return.
With the issues of pirates it is heart breaking to see your products being distributed in that way. I design for a living for my family so it really feels like someone is taking from your family when that happens. It has greatly harmed my business this month. So I am at a crossroads ... I dont have enough time to chase that down and design. I am considering an option to sell in a consigment store but I am not sure that is the total answer.
So yes TADA is still open for a little while as I figure things out :) I promise to let you know.
For now I am clearing eveyrthing up and getting rid of lots of products so have a clearance sale on.
Thanks so much
I'm so sorry to hear that you have been affected by piracy! Your designs are so beautiful...I just ran over to your store to make a few purchases I've been meaning to make before they are gone. Please let us know what you will be doing. Good luck!

Tracy Ann,
I'm sorry that all this with the pirates has effected you. I just wanted to say that I am so glad that you are not quitting. I LOVE your original and unique designs. You are my #1 favorite designer, and I would be so sad to see you leave the digi world. I'm so sorry that mean spirited thieves can keep getting away with these things. I hope for the sake of the digi world that these pirates are stopped. I'm glad to see you continuing on and I hope things work out the best for you.

Ohhh Tracy you know I love your stuff and your creativity!!! I'm so sorry to hear about pirates... I understand you completely... I live of my digital images and I've seen lots of harm done to close friends.
Hope you keep the store and designing... good vibes sent your way!

I'm sorry, I've bought for $14,78 of your products because I love your creations, and I've ordered your new Spring Serenade Catalogue (today is February 21, as mentionned in your "Clearance Sale" post) , but they've answered me : "Please update your order ...
Product Name: Spring Serenade Catalogue
We are sorry but this product has been removed from our inventory at this time.
This item has been removed from your shopping cart." What can I do ? Can you help me, please ? It's inequitable ! I thank you very much in advance,
Véronique Lemaire, from Belgium

Oh Tracy, I'm so sorry to hear about you being pirated. I just love your designs - you're my #1 favourite designer too - and I hope we'll keep seeing more beautiful things from you. I wish you all the best as you figure out the best path to take. Here's wishing you good things.

I love your design! I'm so sorry about the piracy... I wish you wonderful things!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so honoured to actually use your items, I just can't see how people can steal them :*( I'm so upset about all the recent piracy issues.
I wish you the best of luck in whatever you do. Whether it be in designing more (Which I HOPE it will be!) :P or turning over a new leaf :)
**HUGE HUGS**
You will go far, whatever you do!

I just can't imagine how anyone could do this. You know I remember those signs in the mall dressing rooms that say, "shoplifters take everybody's money." The same thing is true of ratty old pirates. I'm so sad for you. I wish I could give those jerks a piece of my mind. Yuck-o. Please know that you and your products are much loved. When I think of all the times I surfed through your store and sighed because I wanted so much more than I could afford it makes me positively ill to think that some other bone-head got it for free. Barf.

Pirates have affected us all...especially the customers who are losing their favorite designers and awesome products because of the actions of theives.

I'm so glad that you are not quitting designing! I would just cry if you quit. Your originality is a breath of fresh air and your color sense is just amazing! Pirates stealing from the designers and their families is heart-breaking and needs to be stopped.
I wish you the best! You deserve it!

Noooooooo! We love you too much for you to leave us. Where will we go then???? I'm sorry you have been the target of piracy. That sucks.

Another of your fans, just dropping in to say how very sorry I am that you have had problems with the pirates. Those people are despicable.
Posted by: Marci | February 22, 2008 at 04:46 PM
I'm another fan also, and would hate to think that I wouldn't have your wonderful designs to BUY!!! I hate that thieves have to ruin a good thing for the rest of us that are honest and pay for our products! I'm just so sorry that you were affected by this and please let us know what your future plans are.....it's just awful that people have to steal from designers, especially the ones that always give back to their customers!

Yet another huge fan, expressing their sorrow that you have been affected by the crap going on.
Maybe you can go underground like Mo Jackson and Moland. TracyAnntartica? :P

Tracy I am so sorry to hear this, you're a favorite of mine and I have so much of your designs, and I LOVE THEM ALL. I pray the piracy as a whole will stop, but reality is there are always the crooked ones out there. May you find a peaceful solution, one that will benefit you and your family. God bless!

So sorry to hear this Tracy but it doesn't surprise me. I know as a consumer I only about 10% of the amount I use to buy because I just have too much stuff and can't justify buying more stuff. And I think that if there are not enough new people moving into digi then you will find alot of existing customer will have this dilemma too.
I look forward to hearing what you will be moving onto...

Tracy Ann, I'm sorry. Designing is a tough business to begin with, and between the freebies and pirates things are almost impossible. :( I love love LOVE your stuff and am trying to figure out what I can afford. I just now found your store, can you believe it? ^^; I've been a ksharonk reader for years!

Just sending my support - whatever direction you go in next I am sure it will be hugely successful!

Traci, I have loved your stuff and collected it (I say collect because I don't seem to get muh scrapping done) for a while. I too would HATE it if you quit designing but I know the burn out and frustration levels that can be reached running your own business. Good luck with the tough decisions you are facing...

Tracy, so sorry to hear about pirating. I hope you don't quit because of them, although I know it is very disheartening to keep on continuing to design when such people exist. I love your designs and will always support them no matter where you are!

Hi Tracy,
I was surfing your site after my purchase and subsequent freebie (THANKS!), and finally took a moment to visit your blog. I'm so sorry to hear you're having to deal with pirates! Selfishly, I'm even more sorry when I think that those of us purchasing your products may lose you as a favored designer. :-( I do SO love your creations, and am looking forward to using them for a long time to come. You're work is inspiring to me! Thank you for sharing your talent. It is very much appreciated. (((hugs!)))

I'm so sorry you're having to deal with these pirating issues. I can't imagine what possesses people to think they can steal someone else's beautiful work. I hope you come to a decision that is right for you and your family. Please know there are many, many of us who love your designs and support you all the way in whatever decision you make. You've given a lot to the digital community, and I for one would like to 'thanks'! ((hugs))

I've just caught up on this news. I'm so sorry that these horrible people have affected you Tracy Ann. I admire you & your ability to design wonderful things that I always want to buy. I love using your products & they always add that finished touch to my layouts. I'm so glad you're not just throwing in the towel and I wouldn't blame you if you did. Hang in there - I like so many other scrappers just LOVE your designs - there are more of US out there than those nasty ones I'm sure : )
